The 2012/13 Oregon NASA Space Grant Student Syposium, hosted by Oregon State University on February 8, 2013, was a success with over 20 student presenters.  The morning poster session, featuring posters from OSGC funded NASA student interns, research scholarship recipients, and student science and engineering competition teams, offered students an excellent opportunity to hone their discussion skills while sharing their work.

The afternoon presentation schedule was packed with interesting PowerPoints.  The topics included microgravity, rover design, SpaceWire testing, Mars Ascent Vehicle layout, and work on the GRAIL Orbiters. Participant feedback was positive and students were excited to have the opportunity to practice their conference skills in a slightly smaller setting.

A PDF version of the event proceedings and student posters are available in the Student Symposium section of our website.
