Evergreen Aviation Museum

Dreams of flight have captured the imaginations of children and adults alike for centuries. Captain Michael King Smith had a fascination with flight that began in childhood and continued throughout his short life. Captain Smith’s fierce dedication and passion for flying led to his dream of an aviation museum unlike any other – a living museum that celebrates aviation’s rich history, honors the patriotic service of our veterans and offers enlightening educational programs in aviation.

Museum at Warm Springs

The mission of the Museum is to preserve, advance and share the knowledge of the cultural, traditional and artistic heritage of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. The Museum achieves this through educational exhibitions and programs that raise and inspire awareness of The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and other indigenous tribes.

Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI)

Founded in 1944 and one of the nation's top ten science museums, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is a world-class tourist attraction and educational resource that puts the "WOW!" in science for the kid in each of us. Five exhibit halls and eight science labs offer 219,000 square feet of brain-powered fun through hundreds of interactive exhibits and hands-on demonstrations. OMSI's multi-attraction complex features a big screen OMNIMAX® Theater, the Northwest's largest planetarium, and the USS Blueback, the last fast-attack, diesel-powered submarine built by the U.S. Navy.

ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum

Southern Oregon's world class science museum features innovative exhibits, science shows and exploration for all ages. This innovative museum inspires wonder and stimulates creative exploration through fun interactive 'hands-on' science and the arts.

The Electronic Universe

A Friends of Pine Mountain Observatory (FOPMO) outreach program, The Electronic Universe provides a multi-faceted enrichment experience for all grade levels of students and teachers plus a component for the general public. The mission is to provide authentic space science experiences where participants can be involved with the process of science by making observations, analyzing data, and drawing rational conclusions within the context of modern astrophysics.

Volcano World

Volcano World is an Earth science educational website with resources for both teachers and students of all ages. The website contains satellite views, current eruption news, instructions on building volcano models, a wide array of volcano related lesson plans and activities, links to volcano webcams and a section devoted to kids with puzzles and art!
