  • Exploration Systems Mission Directorate Newsletters

    Exploration Express helps ESMD personnel, the NASA community, and the nation stay up-to-date on activities throughout the directorate and recognizes those in ESMD who are working to make the Vision for Space Exploration a success. Published monthly on the 15th.

    Space RAD Health is the newsletter of the Space Radiation Health Project whos goal is to achieve human exploration and development of space without exceeding an acceptable level of risk from exposure to space radiation. Published semi-annually.

    Space Nutrition is the newsletter of the Nutritional Biochemistry Laboratory. Nutrition is central to the health and safety of our space explorers, helping to counteract physiological adaptations and improving the quality of life in space. Some of the operational issues related to space flight are nutritional content, microbial monitoring, and food packaging, preparation, and storage. This newsletter is appropriate for kids.

    Space Research was the quarterly newsletter for the Office of Biological and Physical Resarch, which is now part of the Exploration Systems Mission Directorate. It contains articles, news and events on our research activities. Archive issues only.

    Microgravity News was the quarterly predecessor to Space Research published between the early 1990s and Summer 2001. Included here are the last two issue for historical purposes. Archive issues only.
