Oregon Science Teachers Association: OSTA is a state chapter of the National Science Teachers Association comprised of local teachers who are interested in all levels of science education. Its purpose is to encourage, promote, and assist in improving science teaching and learning throughout the state. Approximately 500 in-service and pre-service educators attend the OSTA annual conference and expo. OSGC collaborates with NASA's Aerospace Education Services Program and the Oregon NASA Explorer schools to provide an exhibit booth at the conference.

Intel Northwest Science Expo: The Intel Northwest Science Expo is the Intel International Science and Engineering and the Discovery Channel Young Scientist Challenge Affiliated State level Science Fair for Oregon, Clark County Washington and some neighboring California counties. The ISEF International Fair brings more than 1500 students from more than 40 nations together to compete for scholarships, tuition grants, internships, scientific field trips, and the grand prize - a $50,000 college scholarship.
