Aerospace Seminar Series

The Aerospace Seminar Series provides a forum to promote communication of research activities, both within the Oregon remote sensing community and between that community and outside institutions.

Supported by the Oregon Space Grant Consortium (OSGC), the Aerospace Seminar Series promotes the research infrastructure at all OSGC affiliate institutions by providing funding to assist researchers in bringing speakers to Oregon to present a variety of research topics. Funding is used to provide an honorarium to visiting speakers from other institutions. Visitors typically spend two days in Oregon, discussing their research with faculty and students in addition to giving their open seminar. This type of intellectual exchange plays an important role in keeping faculty and students up to date on current research and stimulates new ideas.
