2022 Spring Student Symposium Main Page

Welcome to the 2022 OSGC Spring Symposium!

This event will be held live Friday, May 20th, at 9AM PST at the LaSells Stewart Center. Presentations will be hosted here live via Zoom, and the recordings will remain available on this page. Links to the virtual poster presentations are at the bottom of this page.

We want to extend a special thanks to our student participants. Our student presenters on the day of the Symposium will include our SCORE awardees, STARR awardees, NASA interns, Graduate Fellows, and AFRIP participants.

OSGC provides support for Oregon students who apply for and recieve internships at NASA. More information here.

OSGC’s STEM Community College Opportunity for Research Experience (SCORE) program provides students attending our member community colleges an opportunity to work together with a faculty mentor on a term-long research project in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or STEM education that goes beyond what is taught in the classroom.

OSGC's Student Academic Research Review (STARR) program is a research review program, where recipients attending both two and four year programs thoroughly review selected research topics and write an original White Paper.

The Affiliate Faculty Research Incubator Program (AFRIP) offers funding to faculty to work on NASA-related research questions, providing opportunities for undergraduate students to experience research and other advanced learning opportunities.
