Introduction: 

The Portland State Aerospace Society (PSAS) is an open source and extremely interdisciplinary student group and lab in the Portland State University Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science. Our teams use systems engineering best practices to build sophisticated amateur rockets, liquid fuel engines, and nanosatellites. The University Class Open Ground System (UniClOGS) is an open source satellite ground station project bringing inexpensive multi-band transmit and receive capabilities to CubeSat operators. Position Description: 

Mechanical engineering position to work on the mechanical documenation, CAD, and prototyping of the v2 UniCloGS system.

Position Responsibilities: 

You will create the MCAD model of the UniClOGS version 2 ground station, document its design, and begin prototyping it with the PSAS UniClOGS team.

Required/Preferred Qualifications: 

Mechanical engineering major sophomore or higher, extensive experience with OnShape mechanical CAD.
