Dr. Nicholas Cramer
Intelligent Systems from Structures to Spacecraft: A Development Path
Dr. Nicholas Cramer is a project manager at NASA Ames Research Center in the Intelligent Systems division. He currently leads the Distributed Spacecraft Autonomy project, developing and maturing autonomous decision making and command and control technologies for distributed spacecraft systems. His interest areas are intelligent structures, robotics perception, aeroelastics, and distributed systems. Nick received his Ph.D. at the University of California, Santa Cruz, in Computer Engineering with a specialty in controls and robotics. He holds bachelor degrees in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
