Please join us for the Oregon NASA Space Grant Spring 2026 Student Symposium. This event will be held in-person on Friday, May 22nd, 2026 at LaSells Stewart Center. The symposium will highlight OSGC-funded Graduate Fellows, NASA Interns, OrION interns, and students who participated in our UTEP, and Faculty Research Award programs. Students will present their research projects and share their experiences.
Oregon NASA Space Grant (OSGC) is committed to providing unique educational experiences and hands-on research opportunities to students enrolled in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines and STEM education programs at our member institutions. OSGC programs contribute to the development of a diverse and qualified STEM national workforce in disciplines needed to support and achieve NASA’s strategic goals and align with the agency’s top research priorities.

During Craig’s tenure at NASA, he has acquired project management and project technical experience through involvement in the Asteroid Threat Assessment Project, small satellite and International Space Station payloads development; concept development and implementation of small satellite databases; and engineering and programmatic analysis of special projects.
Craig currently serves as the Deputy Director for the Small Spacecraft Systems Virtual Institute (S3VI) and is responsible in assisting the director in the overall technical and programmatic execution of the institute. Craig is currently engaged in developing collaborations with international organizations. He manages activities to federate various small satellite tools, reports, and databases into the S3VI Web Portal. S3VI uses web technologies, databases, and virtual collaboration tools to collect, organize, and disseminate SmallSat knowledge for the benefit of NASA and the national and international SmallSat community.
